Mr. Heater's King of the Lake 2018 Event

Welcome to the 2019 Mr. Heater King of the Lake Competition!!

**UPDATE: Due to the utilization of the iCatch app for the 2019 competition, Anglers are now approved to utilize any hard measuring device to submit their catch photos. Please see rules and regulations for more information. Also, Anglers are NOT required to submit weekly catch photos with the King of the Lake 2019 token. Only Slam submissions are required to have the token in the photo**

Back for the 3rd year in a row with an exciting NEW update!

We are partnering with the iCatch app to host our weekly tournaments this year. Anglers will now be able to submit their catches live from the ice via the iCatch app instead of the submission form on the Mr. Heater website. This will ensure quick and accurate results weekly. To find more information on iCatch or register for the weekly tournaments click here.

We would like to invite ALL ice fishermen who fish in Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin to compete for the largest fish from each of the four categories. Anglers will be fishing for Walleye, Perch, Crappie and Pike again to win over $8,000 in cash and prizes! Each week an angler will win $200 by having the longest fish overall in each category across all the states. NEW this year, anglers will be limited to winning a species category only 2 times over the 6 week competition. Those with the longest fish per category per state weekly will receive Mr. Heater King of the Lake merchandise! As a bonus, there will also be a Slam that runs along with the weekly competitions. Anglers will still need to submit their largest fish from each of the four categories on the Mr. Heater website for a chance to win $1,500 at the end!

Participants should pre-register. After registering, you will receive an electronic copy of the 2019 token via email (or click HERE) to print out.  Once the competition begins, fishermen are welcome to fish any DNR approved lake in the 6 designated states.  When a fish is caught and measured, participants will take a photo of the fish on a measuring board in the proper species tournament in the iCatch app and submit. The longest measured fish for each category will become King of the Lake for that week and win $200! In addition, the person who has the largest registered Slam will win $1,500!  The 2019 King of the Lake token is required to be in ALL Slam photo submissions via the King of the Lake website. For the submission form, please see the side menu or click here. Please see the Rules and Regulations for full details concerning participation requirements.
